Wharton County Junior College Instructor of History Paul Villa will spend this summer in Gettysburg, Penn., as a member of the American Battlefield Trust Summer Teaching Institute.

Wharton County Junior College students recently received outstanding achievement awards in seven fields of study: Allied Health, Communication and Fine Arts, Life Sciences, Math and Physical Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Technology and Business and Vocational Sciences.

Thirteen Wharton County Junior College associate degree nursing students were recently inducted into the Alpha Delta Nu honor society.

The Wharton County Junior College Choir and members of the Wharton Community Choir rehearse for their upcoming concert, "American Tapestry: A Choral Journey." The concert is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, in the Horton Foote Theatre on the Wharton campus.
