at our WCJC bookstores. Whether you prefer online or on-campus shopping, our bookstores
offer a wide selection of course materials to support your academic goals.
Attention WCJC Community ---
WCJC is in the process of updating our campus bookstores to provide you with the best service possible. Please note the following dates:
Online bookstore will close, beginning Tuesday, October 21.
Wharton and Richmond Campus bookstores will close, beginning Thursday, October 23.
Order your textbooks in person at the bookstore or online. On the Barnes & Noble site,
select the campus where your class is being taught. The Richmond Bookstore serves Sugar Land classes. Online courses can be found under
the selected campus. Type in your course to view the adopted textbook.
Textbooks purchased online from the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore will be shipped
once they arrive at the bookstore, to the address you provide, or they will be available
for in store pickup. The bookstore will send you an email when your on-line ordered
textbooks are available for you to pickup in the bookstore.
Pick Up Your Order
Step 2
Textbooks purchased online from the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore will be shipped
to the provided address. Alternatively, you can choose to pick up your online-ordered
textbooks in-store. The bookstore will notify you via email when your online-ordered
textbooks are available for pickup.
Bookstore Credit and Financial Aid
Bookstore credit allows you to get your books and supplies from the WCJC campus bookstore
and have the charges applied to your student account against financial aid and/or
scholarships. There’s no need to go to the Business Office to get bookstore vouchers,
you can go straight to the campus bookstore.
You are eligible for bookstore credit if you are awarded financial aid or a scholarship
that exceeds the amount of tuition and fees.
WCJC students who have received financial aid are provided in-store credit only at
the Wharton Campus and Richmond Campus Barnes & Noble bookstores. This approved credit
of financial assistance can be used for textbooks or supplies purchased in person
or online. If you are trying to pay for your online order and it shows that you don't
have available funds, wait a few hours and try again. Approved and funded financial
aid is posted to the system four times a day, so if you wait until later, your agreed
funds might be posted and available.
