Curtis Garton has competed in the sport of rodeo in Saddle Bronc riding for 30 years.  His life travels include competing in 5 different countries including New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Brazil, and the USA.

A former New Zealand champion, he came to the USA in 2003 and spent 21 years competing in the PRCA.  He was the PRCA Southeast Circuit Champion 5 times.  He also won the Dodge Ram National Circuit Finals, now known as the NFR Open in 2013.

Regarding his philosophy and thoughts regarding rodeo and life he stated "Rodeo has taken me to places that I would never have dreamed of going to, and seeing some of the most amazing landmarks across the world.  I have friends that I call family all across the world and I'm so very thankful and blessed to be able to experience such things in my life because of rodeo.  Rodeo has taught me a lot about life, a lot about who I am, and my goal here as the assistant coach is to help you reach your goals and help you excel at a level you have dreamed about; if you work at it mentally and physically everyday, the sky is the limit".
