AEL Eligibility and Registration
WCJC's Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) programs are open to all individuals who
meet the criteria. Follow the instructions to register and contact us if you have
any questions.
Once you've confirmed your eligibility, follow these steps to register for AEL programs.
Step 1
Complete the AEL Interest Form and submit a government-issued form of identification
such as a driver's license, state ID card, or passport. Please make sure your email
address and phone number are correct. A staff member will contact you to schedule
orientation and talk about the next steps.
Attend Orientation & Registration
Step 2
Attend orientation and get registered for classes! We'll cover the basics of how the
program works and what you can expect. Orientation is mandatory for all AEL students.
Immediately after orientation, we'll help you register for your classes. Expect orientation
and registeration to take up to three hours.
Take an Assessment
