WHARTON, TEXAS – Wharton County Junior College’s second 8-week classes begin on Monday,
Oct. 23. Final day to register is also Monday, Oct. 23.
The college is offering both online and in-person classes in the 8-week format. Courses
include:
Online – Biology (Nutrition), Business Computer Applications, Computer Science (Introduction
to Computing), Criminal Justice (Court Systems and Practices), Early Childhood Development
(Child Guidance), Economics (Principles of Microeconomics), English (Composition II),
Government (Federal Government and Texas Government), History (U.S. History I and
II), Kinesiology (Introduction to Physical Fitness & Wellness), Music (American Music),
Paralegal Studies (Torts & Personal Injury Law), Psychology (General Psychology, Learning
Framework and Lifespan Growth and Development) and Sociology (Introduction to Sociology)
Richmond Campus – Mathematics (Basic Mathematics for College and Beginning Algebra)
Sugar Land – Mathematics (Basic Mathematics for College and Beginning Algebra)
Wharton – Mathematics (Basic Mathematics for College and Beginning Algebra)
