RICHMOND, TEXAS – Wharton County Junior College is partnering with the Veterans of Foreign Wars to host an event designed to provide veterans with information on benefits and educational opportunities.
Scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at WCJC’s Richmond Campus, Room T-107, the Veteran’s Support and Benefits Fair – in partnership with VFW Posts No. 3903, No. 7109 and No. 4474 – will feature informational tables on a host of pertinent information including benefits, education and the various support organizations in place to assist veterans. WCJC’s Recruitment Staff and Veterans’ Certifying Official will participate in the event.
All area veterans of the United States Military are invited to attend, and no reservations are needed. Light refreshments will also be served.
