WCJC SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM GRADUATES

 

Twelve students recently graduated from Wharton County Junior College's Surgical Technology program.  Front row, from left, are Dydry Lockhart of East Bernard, Meagan Janak of El Campo, Lora Randlett of Richmond, Sabrina Hensley of El Campo, Dorys Gomez of Rosenberg and Jessica White of Bay City.  Back row, left to right, are Amanda Baker of Boling, Avery Pond of Needville, Madeline McSweeny of Van Vleck, Megan Henke of Halletsville, Eric Alvarez of Glidden and Maura Fortner of Katy.

 

WHARTON, TEXAS – Twelve students graduated this summer from Wharton County Junior College’s Surgical Technology program.

Graduates included:

  • Megan Henke of Halletsville
  • Eric Alvarez of Glidden
  • Maura Fortner of Katy

McSweeny received all three of the department’s special awards, including Perfect Attendance, Clinical Excellence and Academic Excellence. Melissa Bruton, Department Head of the Surgical Technology program, made the presentations.

Other staff on hand for the ceremony included Heather Velasco, Carol Riley, Paulette Perez and Renee Lewis.
