WHARTON, TEXAS – Seventeen students have earned their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Wharton County Junior College. A pinning ceremony was held at the conclusion of the Fall 2025 semester on the Wharton campus.

  • Fort Bend County: Emily Cancelliere of Richmond, Destiny Finecountry of Fulshear, Carlos Machado of Richmond, Sarah Medeiros of Sugar Land, Sara Moghanloo of Richmond, Karen Montes of Richmond, Alyssa Robles of Rosenberg, Dalia Romany of Sugar Land, Gabrielle Silva of Rosenberg and Madison Windon of Missouri City
  • Harris County: Perpetual Ikondu of Houston, Juan Nunez Valdivia of Houston, Stefanie Porter of Sugar Land,
  • Wharton County: Kenadi Domel of East Bernard, Ebony Greely of El Campo, Devon Raney of El Campo

The Associate Degree Nursing program begins in August at the Wharton campus and in January at the Sugar Land campus. A 12-month LVN-ADN transition program begins in May for students already licensed as vocational nurses.
