The Wharton County Junior College Choir rehearses for “The Sounds of Christmas,” scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Horton Foote Theatre in Wharton.
WHARTON, TEXAS – Just in time for the holiday season, the Wharton County Junior College Choir will present “The Sounds of Christmas” concert.
The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Horton Foote Theatre in the Duson-Hansen Fine Arts Building on the Wharton campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
Selections will include holiday favorites like “Sleigh Ride,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Let it Snow,” “Silver Bells” and “Deck the Halls.” The choir will also perform a medley of international Christmas carols.
“This will be a fun time for the whole family,” said WCJC Choir Director Dr. Karl Paoletti.
One highlight of the concert will be an audience sing-along to a well-known Christmas carol.
“I think everyone will really enjoy that,” Paoletti said.
