WHARTON, TEXAS – A ceremony was held recently for graduates of Wharton County Junior College’s Vocational Nursing (LVN) program.

Graduates included:

  • Colorado County – Ashley Gonzalez of Columbus
  • Fort Bend County – Liah Martinez of Fulshear, LaQuiesha Taylor of Richmond,
  • Matagorda County – LaQuiesha Francis of Matagorda, Kearston Hines of Bay City, Maurisha Morgan of Matagorda, Catlyn Plunkett of Bay City,
  • Victoria County – Ariel Allen of Victoria and Johana Bebongchu Chapajong of Victoria
  • Wharton County – Katheryn Haven of Wharton, Sara Labay of El Campo, Karla Lopez of Wharton, Armando Martinez of El Campo, Jesica Waddy of Wharton and Jalaysia Weaver of Wharton

The LVN program is a certificate program that utilizes classroom and clinical instruction to prepare graduates for employment as a member of a nursing team. The program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing (BON). For more information, visit www.wcjc.edu
