WHARTON, TEXAS – Nineteen students have earned their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Wharton County Junior College. A ceremony was recently held at the Horton Foote Theatre on the Wharton campus.

The dental hygiene program is a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree program that provides students with hands-on experience related to oral health. Median pay according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ 2023 Occupational Outlook Handbook is around $87,000 annually.
