Students, faculty and staff from Wharton County Junior College's Bay City Campus recently entered a float in the 2022 Matagorda County Rice Festival, held at the Matagorda County Fairgrounds. All three campus programs - Nuclear Power Technology, Process Technology and Manufacturing Technology - had a hand in decorating the float. WCJC's float took third place in the non-commercial category.
