Wharton Police Chief Terry Lynch takes a moment to visit with Wharton County Junior
College students and faculty representatives during the recent National Night Out
event. Held at WCJC's Wharton campus, the event -- part of a nationwide observance
-- provided an opportunity for the area's emergency responders to meet with the public.
Food, music and an up-close look at various emergency response vehicles were part
of the festivities. Members of WCJC's Res-Life group volunteered at the event. Pictured,
