WHARTON, TEXAS – The Wharton County Junior College Pioneers Baseball Team’s game against Galveston College on Thursday, March 25, has been postponed.
The 9-inning game was supposed to take place at 6 p.m. in Galveston but had to be postponed due to the Whitecaps’ field being too wet. The game is now scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 26, in Galveston.
A doubleheader between the Pioneers and Whitecaps planned for 2 p.m. Saturday in Galveston will remain as scheduled.
WCJC played Galveston earlier in the week, winning 13-5. The Pioneers are 17-11 overall and 9-2 in conference play.
