WHARTON, TEXAS – Twenty-four students have earned their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Wharton County Junior College.
A pinning and lighting ceremony was held in December of 2019 at the Pioneer Student Center on the Wharton campus.
Valedictorian was Vanessa Osifo of Katy. Salutatorian was Olivia Cottle of Richmond. Both were also named to the Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society, along with Bianca Ascencion of Needville, Jill Cantu of Richmond, Austin Carrington of Richmond, Duy Khang Nguyen of Houston, Maritza Padron of Bellville, Tayler Rodgers of Richmond, Sahil Saheba of Richmond, Shauna Squyres of Rosenberg, Dasia White of Katy and Margery Willis of Houston.
