Needville resident Edee Sinclair is sworn in as the newest member of the Wharton County Junior College Board of Trustees by Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Jared Cullar during a brief ceremony held during the Sept. 24 board meeting. Sinclair works for the Needville Independent School District and was appointed to Position 8, formerly held by Oliver Kunkel Jr., who resigned earlier this year after serving on the board since 1996. A mother of three, Sinclair is the current precinct chairman in Needville for the Fort Bend County Republican Party, has been an election judge in Needville for 25 years, has served as the president and secretary of the Development Corporation of Needville and is the assistant director for the All Stars Youth Banjo Band of Houston.
