WHARTON, TEXAS – Twenty students have earned their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Wharton County Junior College.
A pinning and lighting ceremony was held on Dec. 12 at the Pioneer Student Center on the Wharton campus. Program Director Dr. Andrea Shropshire provided the welcome and presented the class to the audience.
Top honor graduates were Rebecca Rios of Richmond and Jacqueline Williams of Houston. Graduates named to the Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society were Rios, Williams, Shannon Biles of Sugar Land, Samreen Haris of Sugar Land, Sarah McCoy of Sugar Land, Serena Shelby of Richmond and Kirsten Thomas of Houston.
