Senior Citizen Program

Senior Citizen Program

One of our core tenets at WCJC is to ensure every community member thrives. That’s why we created the Senior Citizen Program. Headquartered in the LaDieu Technology Center on Wharton Campus and offered throughout the WCJC community, the program brings everything from health screenings to activities to seniors aged 60 or older.

Enabling Seniors to Live Their Best Lives

Supporting the Program

Thanks to funding from the Houston-Galveston Area Council, the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, the Texas Department of Agriculture, County Resources, and local donations, the Senior Citizen Program is able to improve the lives of countless community members.
It's free. It's beneficial. People come in and give helpful suggestions. It's helpful to seniors that live alone, and it allows them to meet and talk to other people. It provides seniors with at least one nutritious meal a day."
