Wharton County Junior College Band Director Joe Waldrop leads students through a recent rehearsal. Waldrop will direct his final concert with the college on Thursday, March 27, at the Horton Foote Theatre on the Wharton campus.

The Wharton County Junior College Choir and the Wharton Community Chorus rehearse for the upcoming concert, "Salute to Broadway." Scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at the Horton Foote Theatre on the Wharton campus, the show is open to the public and free of admission.

Phillips 66 recently made a $10,000 donation to the Wharton County Junior College Foundation toward vocational scholarships at WCJC.
