Jodie Hutchinson received her B.S. in Psychology from University of Houston. She earned
her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Houston Baptist University. Hutchinson is a Licensed
Professional Counselor (LPC). She began teaching full time at Wharton County Junior
College in 2008. Mrs. Hutchinson teaches General Psychology, Human Growth and Development,
Learning Framework, Social Psychology, and Human Sexuality.

Dr. Kilgore received his B.S. (Sociology/Anthropology) from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and will receive two M.A. degrees from this same institution (Sociology; Cross-Cultural studies). In addition, Dr. Kilgore earned an M.A. from Fuller Theological Seminary (Theology), and a PhD. from the University of North Texas (Sociology). Dr. Kilgore joined WCJC in Fall 2022 and currently teaches SOCI 1301: Introduction to Sociology, SOCI 1306: Social Problems, SOCI 2301: Marriage and the Family, and SOCI 2319: Minority Studies.

Dr. Loessin received his B.S. and M.A. from Sam Houston State University, ABD from Texas A&M University, and Ph.D. from Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica. He came to WCJC in 1989 from The University of Louisiana at Monroe where he was a Lecturer of Sociology from 1986-1989. He teaches SOCI 1301: Introduction to Sociology, SOCI 1306: Social Problems, SOCI 2319: Minority Studies; PSYC 2319: Social Psychology, and ANTH 2351: Cultural Anthropology. He has also taught ENGL1301: Composition I, ENGL 1302: Composition II, ENGL 2322: British Literature I, ENGL 2323: British Literature II, ENGL 2333: World Literature II, and HUMA 1301: Introduction to Humanities.
