Program Description: This 8-hour course is for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for work, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or who wants to be prepared for an emergency situation in any setting. The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Upon completion, the student will receive a CPR card from the American Heart Association.

Materials Needed: Students will need to purchase the required textbook. Books are available for purchase through the American Heart Association website.
