Ms. Goins received her Master's degree in Nursing Education from Texas Woman's University, Houston, Texas in December 2011. She began her nursing career in Medical-Surgical Nursing in 1999 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She has worked in various areas like Orthopedic/Trauma at MHH-TMC and Neurology Rehab Oncology at MD Anderson. Natasha has taught Med-Surg Nursing at Sowela Technical Community College in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She started part-time at Wharton County Junior College in the Associate Degree of Nursing program in the Med-Surg I skills lab. Currently she works full-time at Wharton County Junior College as a Pharmacology instructor and clinical instructor in Med-Surg II. She still works as a staff nurse in Post-partum, Medical Telemetry and Physical Rehab areas.

Mrs. Hann received her Vocational Nursing Certificate from Wharton County Junior College in 1986. After working in various areas in rural Texas facilities for 12 years, she obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Reagents College (member of The University of the State of New York) in 1998. She continued working in rural Texas facilities and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 followed by her Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2012 through Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona. Her work experiences include Medical Surgical Nursing, hospital based Skilled Nursing Facilities and Rehabilitation Units, Geriatric-Psych Unit, Long Term Care Facilities as a Staff Nurse and Director of Nurses, Outpatient Clinic Internal Medicine Department Staff Nurse, Home Health Visiting Nurse as well as Case Manager and Staff Supervisor, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Operating Room Nurse in the capacity of a Scrub Nurse and Circulating Nurse. She joined Wharton County Junior College as a full time instructor for the Associate Degree Nursing Program in January 2013.

Ms. Hardin graduated from the University of Texas School of Nursing, Houston, TX in 1977. She has 43 years of nursing experience in various clinical areas which include Medical-Surgical units, Orthopedics, Emergency Department and ICU and in nursing administration as House Supervisor, Infection Control/Prevention, Quality Improvement and Assistant Director of Nursing, She joined Wharton County Junior College as the Simulation Lab Coordinator in September 2020.

Mrs. Korenek received her Masters of Science from Texas Woman’s University, Houston, Texas. She began her nursing career as Licensed Vocational Nurse, after receiving her certificate from Wharton County Junior College. Mrs. Korenek obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas. She has worked in various areas like Medical/Surgical, Oncology, Obstetrics, and Nursing Administration. In addition she also received her certificate as a Woman's Health Nurse Practitioner from The University Southwest Medical School, Dallas, Texas. She practiced as a Nurse Practitioner for several years providing Prenatal, Postparum, and Gynecologic care. Mrs. Korenek began her teaching career with Wharton County Junior College in 2011. She has been an instructor in Level 1, Level 3 and LVN-ADN transition.

Mrs. Kumar graduated from Andhra University in India in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She practiced as an RN mostly in critical care in India and the Middle Eastern counrty of Oman for several years before migrating to the USA in 1999. She worked in Critical Care and Interventional Radiology departments for several years in Texas. She obtained her Master's degree in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse practitioner specialty from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2013. She practiced as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for 5 years before embarking on her lifelong passion for teaching at Wharton County Junior College in the spring of 2020.

Ms. Lindsey received her Master's degree in Nursing Education from Chamberlain College of Nursing, St. Louis, MO. in December 2011. She began her nursing career in Geriatric Nursing in 1992 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She has worked in various areas like Medical Surgery at St. Louis Regional Hospital and Medical Surgery/Telemetry at Oakbend Medical Center in Richmond, TX, Rehab at Rehab Institute at St. Louis, Mo. Shawna has taught Med Surg clinical as adjunct faculty at Houston Community College in Houston, TX. She started part-time at WCJC in the Associate Degree of Nursing program in the Level 1 skills lab. Currently she works full time at WCJC as a level 1 lecture instructor and clinical instructor. She still works as a staff nurse PRN in Medical Telemetry at Oakbend Medical Center.

Ms. Pendergraft attended Texas A&M University before receiving her BSN from UTMB in 1996. She worked for Harris County Hospital District for several years as an ICU nurse before receiving her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner at TWU-HSC. Her other work experiences include employment at Texas Children's Hospital as a PICU/NICU nurse, woman's health, home health, hospice care and medical legal consulting. Mrs. Pendergraft has taught nursing at TWU-HSC as well as Blinn College Station. She joined the WCJC associate degree nursing faculty in 2014.

Ms. Usman graduated with her BSN and MSN from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB) with a background in medicine. She is practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting. She also has worked as a registered nurse and a vascular ultrasound technologist. She has taught as a Clinical Instructor Anatomy, Physiology to sonography students. In addition, she also acted as a Clinical Instructor for Chamberlain School of Nursing. She joined Wharton County Junior College as an Associate Degree Nursing Instructor in fall 2020.
