Wharton County Junior College's Dean of Enrollment Management and Registrar Jerry Martinez is hoping for plenty of participation in this year's One-Stop Apply & Register events, scheduled in July and August at the Wharton and Richmond campuses.
WHARTON, TEXAS – Wharton County Junior College will host six summer registration events to help students get ready for the Fall 2023 semester. The “One-Stop Apply & Register” events will be held at both the Richmond and Wharton campuses on the following dates:
During the events, students will receive assistance with advising, applying for classes, financial aid, registration, TSI testing, how to log into student email accounts and much more. WCJC’s Dean of Enrollment Management and Registrar Jerry Martinez said last year’s events were well attended, with 85 students attending the Richmond event and 111 students participating in the Wharton event.
“We’re hoping to build off the success of last year’s events,” Martinez said. “These events are open to all prospective, current and former students. If you are interested in WCJC but unsure of where to begin, stop by these one-stop events and we will get you started. It’s never too late to invest in yourself."
No pre-registration is required. Spanish-speaking staff will be available. Students should bring a picture ID and immunization records, specifically their bacterial meningitis shot records. For additional information, contact registrar@wcjc.edu or call 979-532-6303.
