Wharton County Junior College Bay City Campus is located in the Center for Energy Development, and serves as a technical education hub for the entire region. Programs in Nuclear Power Technology, Process Technology and Manufacturing Technology are based here. 

The facility is focused on providing hands on training, creating a highly skilled industrial workforce for the future.

We are very excited about the learning opportunities that the WCJC Bay City campus brings to the residents of Matagorda County and the surrounding area. This state-of-the-art facility housed in the Center for Energy Development offers a convenient location for those interested in pursing higher education near their home.

The campus is home to the Process Technology program, the Nuclear Power Technology program, and the Manufacturing Technology program. In addition, we offer general education courses to support these and other programs along with a variety of Continuing Education programs.
