First Year Student Follow-Up


WCJC wishes to assist currently enrolled first time in college students to make their academic experience as smooth as possible.  WCJC has scheduled a series of special First Year Follow-up sessions for the first time in college in their first semester students.  First Year Follow-up sessions work as a check-in with an academic advisor as well as a platform for delivering pertinent information.  These sessions are designed to assist with the following:

  1. Provide information about academic support services
  2. Answer any questions you may have about college
  3. Gather your feedback on what we can do to improve or change your college experience
  4. Prepare students for end of semester finals
  5. Assist with course planning for your next semester, Spring 2020

Registration for the December Mini Term 2019 and Spring 2020 begin November 1, 2019.
The Freshmen Follow-up sessions will be brief and start every hour on the schedule below.  These sessions are for you, so please make your plans to attend one session.

Please don't be late or you will need to wait. 

Due to space limitations, sessions are for Students Only. 

Reservations are not required, but availability is on a space available basis.  Making an appointment on the links above is strongly recommended.
