Wharton County Junior College was awarded the 2018 Emergency Assistance to Institutions of Higher Education Program Grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The grant is designated to help institutions located in an area affected by a disaster or emergency. The grant period is from 10/31/2018- 12/31/2020. The funds from this grant will be utilized for three activities: outreach, enrollment recovery efforts, and direct financial assistance for impacted students.
