Why I became a WCJC trustee: I became a member of the WCJC Board of Trustees because I am a graduate of this institution. I felt I could be a contributor to the school by giving back of my time and effort with the goal of maintaining a high quality of education for the students.
What I like most about being a WCJC board member: What I like most about being a board member is being a part of the growth of WCJC. Student enrollment has risen tremendously since I became a board member and there has been significant campus expansion in the form of new facilities and renovation of existing structures. To me, the most important part about being a board member is being a part of student success. It is about the students at WCJC.
WCJC benefits the community by: I feel WCJC is a huge benefit to the community by offering a well-rounded learning experience for our student, low-cost quality education and a friendly, knowledgeable, experienced faculty, staff and administration.
How my experience with WCJC has affected my life: My experience at WCJC has shown me different strategies on how to professionally interact with students, administration, community leaders and the general public as a whole.
When I became a board member: My swearing in date for becoming a member of the WCJC Board of Trustees was Oct. 7, 1996.
