Ms. Shimek has industry experience in multiple disciplines including piping design, civil design and structural design. She is proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation and Inventor software. She began her teaching career at Wharton County Junior College in 2001. She currently teaches Technical Drafting, Basic Computer-Aided Drafting, Intermediate Computer-Aided Drafting, Machine Design, Pipe Drafting, Solid Modeling/Design and Final Project at the Wharton campus.

Mr. Arriaga industry experience includes civil design, architectural design, MEP design and GIS mapping solutions. He is proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and ArcGIS. His teaching career began at Wharton County Junior College in the Fall of 2010. Mr. Arriaga currently teaches Specialized Basic Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), Electrical Drafting, and Civil/Structural Drafting at both the Wharton and Fort Bend Technical Center campuses.

Mr. Eberhardt has over 35 years industrial experience as a project manager, project engineer, construction manager, plant engineer and design engineer.He presently has his own civil engineering company, J.E. Engineering & Inspections, Inc., and does civil engineering design for residential, commercial and industrial projects.The civil engineering design entails construction site grading and storm water drainage, detention ponds, paving, utilities, and storm water pollution prevention plans.

Mr. Stupka began his teaching career with a two-year fellowship at Sam Houston State University and has taught for Wharton County Junior College for more than 40 years. His industry experience includes four years in architectural design and one-year in civil design. In the past 40 years he has also worked as a consultant in various capacities in the Geophysical industry as a drafter/cad operator/programmer/database manager. He is fluent in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inventor, and GeoSoft Montaj drawing programs, C++ and Delphi programming languages and Nexus, Microsoft Access and Oracle database programs. Mr. Stupka currently teaches Computer Aided Drafting Programming (AutoLISP).
