Additionally, the program provides flexibility allowing students to pursue accounting, economics, finance, marketing, or management majors at four-year institutions.

The mission of the Business and Economics department is to provide opportunities for individual growth and expression and promote the development of the total person. The programs curriculum seeks to lay a foundation for lifelong learning and involved citizenship and encourage the pursuit of knowledge. It prepares students for entry-level positions, for advancement in various occupations and professions (especially in business related occupations), for a broad understanding of the liberal arts and sciences, and for transfer to baccalaureate- granting institutions.
