Dianne Curtis has taught art for over 10 years, and has worked as a professional Graphic Designer for numerous Houston corporations and agencies such as Cooper Oil Tool, Bonnie Group Advertising and CBS Printing. She attended four graduate schools (Miami University Online, Academy of Art, Houston Baptist University and the University of Houston), earned a M. Ed. from the University of Houston and is currently working on a MFA in Graphic Design and Illustration at the Academy of Art. Ms. Curtis has studied digital design,drawing, painting illustration and metalsmithing and has won numerous national and local awards. Ms. Curtis now teaches all ARTS classes offered at WCJC.

Melissa Klotz is a Part-time Art Instructor at WCJC teaching Art History. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree with a studio art major with emphasis in painting from Houston Baptist University. Melissa’s teaching record consists of a variety of art courses including Art Appreciation, Drawing, Color Theory, and Art Methods and Materials. Melissa’s paintings have been included in several art exhibitions and juried shows in galleries in Texas, including Rockport Center for The Arts, Norwood Flynn Gallery, Samara Gallery, University of St. Thomas Art Gallery, Williams Tower Gallery, and Archway Gallery, among others.
