ENROLLMENT NIGHT WCJC hosts evening events to assist students with enrollment

July 25, 2018

WHARTON, TEXAS – Students needing a helping hand in registering for WCJC’s Fall 2018 semester will soon be able to receive some after-hours assistance.

“Enrollment Night” events are planned at both the Wharton and Richmond campuses as a way of providing convenient services to prospective students. The Richmond event is planned for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, while the Wharton event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9. Participants should check-in at the main lobby in Richmond or at the Pioneer Student Center in Wharton.

All future and current students are invited to attend and no reservations are required. Parents are welcome as well and should be on hand to assist with the financial aid process.

“Students may want to call ahead to determine if they need to bring any documents or specific pieces of information with them to an Enrollment Night event,” said WCJC’s Vice President of Student Services Dave Leenhouts.

Student Services staff will be available at both events to answer questions regarding admission, academic advising and financial aid.

“Regardless of where a student is in the process for financial aid and admission, we can provide them assistance at these events,” Leenhouts said.
