WHARTON, TEXAS – Fifteen students have earned their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Wharton County Junior College.

A pinning and lighting ceremony was held on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the Pioneer Student Center on the Wharton campus. Program Director Dr. Andrea Shropshire provided the welcome and presented the ADN Class of 2017 to the audience.

Graduates included Amberlyn Varela of Rosenberg, Nicole Tobar of Richmond, Autumn Norsworthy of Rosenberg, Odessa Cabanay of Bay City, Anna Hatfield of Richmond, Apurva Vanguri of Sugar Land, Monika Lava of Houston, Gretchen Freudensprung of Wharton, Orlando Trinidad-Rodriguez of Houston, Aurielle Roberson of Sugar Land, Maria Loredo of Missouri City, Emily Case of Missouri City, Hannah Pavlicek of Columbus, Preekmon Sukaviriya of Houston and Lakisha Brown of San Felipe.
