National and Local ACT

Local ACT

The Local ACT is used only for WCJC Allied Health Programs. There is a 60-day waiting period for retesting purposes. Students must complete an application for admission through Apply Texas prior to testing. In addition, students must pay at the Business Office and then take the receipt to the Testing Center on the day of testing. Students should refer to the testing schedule  and call the Testing Center to schedule their test.

The Local ACT is made up of 4 sections: English, Math, Reading, and Science. The test takes approximately 3 hours.

The Local ACT is designed for students who would like to attend WCJC only and will not be released to other colleges.

Test fee: $15.00.
